Please join us for the Fulbright Center’s annual graduate evening. During this event you will learn about the graduate school search and application process in the US, standardized testing and financing your studies. Please note that a small part of the evening will be dedicated to the Dutch Fulbright Program. If you do not hold Dutch nationality, this information is not applicable to your situation.

Yenching Academy van Peking University.

Ook dit jaar organiseert Universiteit Leiden een voorselectie voor de Yenching Academy van Peking University.

Leiden selecteert 4-6 studenten voor deze 1 jarige master China studies. Studenten die daarna ook door de Yenching Academy worden geselecteerd ontvangen een volledig beurs voor hun jaar in China. Je hoeft niet al Chinees te beheersen of China- ervaring te hebben om je aan te kunnen melden voor de selectieprocedure.

De deadline voor de interne Leidse voorselectie is dit jaar 1 december 2017.

Dream NEW scholarships: apply now!

The non-profit organization Initiative for Transparency in Educational Grants (ItS – Initiative für transparente Studienförderung) currently seeks new applications for its new scholarship programme the “Dream NEW” scholarships! A total of 25 scholarships with a combined value of 69,000 € will be awarded for a semester abroad at one of New Zealand’s top ten universities. Students who think and dream big are encouraged to apply for the “Dream NEW” scholarship – the scholarship aims to support students who welcome new challenges in their lives and have the courage to follow their dreams with determination. The awarding of these scholarships is not based on grades, semester or subject of study. Fall Data Science Fellowship Opportunity

Program: The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. In response to the overwhelming interest in our earlier sessions, we will be holding another fellowship.

Who Should Apply: Anyone who has already obtained a masters or PhD degree or who is within one year of graduating with a masters or PhD is welcome to apply. Applications from international students are welcome. Everyone else is encouraged to sign-up for a future session.

Deadline 2nd selection round study abroad (university-wide agreements outside of Europe) 30 January 2017

Write down what you want to get out of your time abroad. Working out what you want to achieve will help determine the choices you make. Research your options well, make good arrangements and make sure to consider your study plan carefully. Are you short of funds but still want to go abroad? Then perhaps an exchange programme is best for you. This means you only pay tuition fees to Leiden University.
