Peking University’s Yenching Academy offers a one-year MA programme in China Studies with full scholarships.  The program focuses on the study of modern China in one of the six disciplines: Politics and International Relations, Law and Society, Economics and Management, and Literature & Culture. Admitted students (called “Yenching Scholars”) receive a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend, travel expenses and free accommodation on campus. More about the programme can be found on their website: http://yenchingacademy.org/ and their YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dojXAHFcJw8.  Yenching Scholars are often recruited from Peking University’s partner universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Chicago, Oxford, Columbia and of course Leiden. Because Leiden is one of the partners of Peking University, we can pre-select students for this programme. We normally can place up to 3 students annually.
